How do I make a booking?

Select “book now” on the top-right side, then you will find a form to fill-up with your personal data, travel details and service request. That’s it! I will contact you by e-mail informing availability, price and more details. If you have any specific questions before sending your request, send me a message on WhatsApp… just need to click on the green button on the down-right side of the page.

After receiving the final offer, you will have 48 hours to reply and confirm the service. So, I will send all the financial details accordantly to your preference to proceed with the booking fee. Once confirmed the payment, you will receive an invitation by e-mail with all the details of your tour or assistance.

How much is a tour? Is there any discount?

The service price depends on mainly how long the tour or assistance will take, how many people will be part of the experience, the amount and the cost of entrance ticket if applicable; or which will be the means of transport. This is the reason why is very important to fill the booking form with all details. So, I can contact and offer you a detailed budget and an experience above your expectation.

Is there any discount?

Yes, there is two categories of discount. For customers interested in more than one tour, they automatically get 10% off the total amount. Most of the combos are city walking or bike tour plus foodie or Red Light District tour, for example. These are the most popular combined tours, but you can also choose Zaanse Schans or Rotterdam tours for having an experience outside of Amsterdam as well. 

For customers traveling alone, they get 20% off from the full amount automatically. I am also a “solo traveler”, so I know the importance of a local on my side to guide and share unique experiences and tips. I wish to have had an Amster.dani in any destiny I have been by myself.

What’s the best time to book my tour?

As soon as you confirm your trip with hotel reservation and flight tickets, I recommend booking your tour with 1 or 2 months ahead. Normally, I close the Amster.dani’s agenda with 2-4 weeks in advance depending on the demand. However, it is also possible to have a last-minute booking accordantly to availability.

How do I pay for my booking and/or tour?

To pay for your bookings, just follow the steps to book your experience and select your preferred payment method when requested. You can pay for your experience through bank transfer, Paypal or other payment methods available in your country of residence.

What if I need to modify, reschedule or cancel?

Need to add a traveler, change the date, or make another adjustment? Not a problem! In most cases, you can change your booking up to 48 hours before your activity upon availability. However, please check the “Terms and Conditions” section for the detailed policy for your specific situation. 

In case of no-show, it means if the customer does not show up at the scheduled time and does not report the delay, the guide will wait for 30 minutes only. Then, the tour will be considered canceled and the “Terms and Conditions” will be also applied.

Where is my tour meeting point?

The meeting point will be informed once the tour is confirmed depending on the tour type, the hotel location, and the logistic convenience. Most of the time, I  pick-up my guests at their hotel but it depends on the location. If it is far away from the route of the tour, I will recommend the easiest meeting point to start it (such as Central Station, Leidseplein, and Dam Square). The idea here is to optimize time and maximize the experience.

What is included or not included in the tour or services offered?

The values informed by the tours include only administrative and labor costs. It means that the regular tour budget does not include extra costs with private spending. The own food, drinks, bike rental, transportation, tickets should be paid by the customers. 

However, Amster.dani informs an estimative cost for all the items mentioned above depending on the customer profile and needs. Please, request this assistance if it is your case.
